Perth Trip Continued..(Day 3)

Prepared our breakfast early in the morning. Sliced beef and fried eggs, tuna and mixture of sauces..




Headed off to our first stop of the day : Lilac Hill estate wines for wine tasting.
Luck wasn't with us. It was closed on MondAY!


So we snapped a couple of fotos and headed off to the margaret chocolate factory.

Free tasting!!! The leftmost is dark choco, followed by white and milk chocolates. Can't remember how many rounds i went... think 3-4 hahaa... yum yum..
That's all the tasting they have! only 3! Well, because that's the basic of chocolates. The package will be mixed with biscuits or nuts etc...

We stopped over here and i ordered a chocolate milkshake.


We ordered our drinks separately but all of us got the same queuing number! And that's my hse unit number!


Chocolate Milkshake. Unlike SG, in AuZ the extras are put in a container and given to the customers. It's like half glass more!! But too bad the shakes isn't that great..


My sis and bro in-law buying some gifts back..

Perth Trip Continued...(Day 2)

We woke up very early everyday abt 7am. Becoz the day ended early so we had to start early in order to make our trip worth it! Anyway, that's my sister's logic..

So Finally can capture a photo of the pool at our apartment.. there's a small jacuzzi beside it as well. But... WHO WILL WANT TO SWIM in this weather?


What we wanted to do most = stock up our food. Went in search of supermarkets..this is the first that we went. Things are so expensive!!! So we only bought some puffs to eat. Later then we know from my sister's friend that this supermart is meant for those high-end customers.


My sister's friend brought us to a chinese restaurant for dim sum. We realised a lot of hongkongers actually migrated there to do biz. My sis say only those that cook really well can survive there.


For the rest of the day, we only did some shopping at the centre. I bought a pair of brandless sports shoes for AUD 21.90 as the canvas shoes (AUD 11) that i bought to replace wasn't very comfortable.
Then we went woolworths to stock up our food. It's just like shop and save supermarket in singapore. You should now appreciate actually things in SG is not that expensive.


After a day of shopping, we're back to our apartment. Look at the amount of food we bought! Later then we realised there's another packet of food in my bro's bag that we didn't bring it out. So we spent AUD 100 again!!


Yeah~HH


The next day is a hectic one... will come back again~

Perth Trip continued.. (Day 1)

E-Shed Markets


This shop at E-shed market has all the cheapest souvenirs. We bought all our nougats from here as well. Not very cheap.. one big pack cost AUD 29.90. Dunno how my sis bargained, later then uncle sold us for AUD 27 per pack.




Going to our next destination = Fremantle prison. They closed at 5pm so when we reached they were already closing~!
But not too bad after all coz we realised they had the Fremantle prision torchlight tour(Ghost tour!) 2 days later so we went ahead and book it.


In deep thoughts... plotting maps...


Time for dinner! A must try, very famous fish & chips over there.


Good but quite expensive, our first order over there amt to over AUD 100 for 4 persons. You can click on the enlarge foto to look at their prices at the board there.


So happy we get to sit and eat!!


But it was so cold that we were shivering while we eat.. haha cause those enclosed seats were all taken up and we had to sit outside in the open. So when the wind blew, woo hooO! shivers! It was winter~


But can you imagine we actually saw a couple there taking wedding fotos!!!My lousy camera didn't do a good job...


Mussells, fish & chips, calamari, and ginger beer and rose tea..


Perth is like infested with seagulls... all over the streets. Here at fish & chips they were standing nearby and they will get ready if you ever leave your seat to go for toilet. Make sure somebody is there to guard your food! haha..


Come seagulls look at the camera and smile :)

Perth Trip

Just back from Perth last thursday night. Had a good break though and really enjoyed not working!!


Thanks dear for sending us off at the airport.

My room! and the bed on the left was where i slept for the past week.






We were hungry so we bought these at the minimart at our apartment.


We were walking to collect our car at Bayswater car rental.

and then my shoes gave way! Look at these! Oh my~


We reached! but was 90 mins late so they rented out our GPS!! Oh god that was hell and we had to depend on maps to get to our destinations. Bad and arrogant service from that lady. But what to do? they're the cheapest in town.

If you have the chance to go perth, try their custard apples..GOOD!

I just wanted to let you know you've been a great support to me all these years.
I guess i will never have felt happier without you. Thanks for all the enlightenment and things you have done.
And sorry.. ..it hurts me to hear that. Insensitive, i'm guilty of it. I want to share everything with you, be it good or bad and vice versa.
